The Second Coming

I have been under the impression that a Masters degree earned at home is as valuable as earned abroad. And I never had an idea of leaving India for a degree although I had been under pressure at some point or the other to step abroad for a post-graduate degree. A degree in Internal Combustion Engines is what I desired and when I found it available here at a University in my hometown, I decided to throw myself into the mix and how satisfied I am to be still in my own town, trying to learn the tricks of the trade and learning how to do things in order to learn about an Engine. Engines are things of immense interest and potent that learning about them can be a breeze if one is well informed in the areas of Combustion and Design. The aspects of Combustion are innumerable and so are the aspects of Design which I’ve had a brief insight in my first Semester. I would be really happy if I could trudge along without any arrears in my first semester. I seem to be doing well in a few subjects. And Thermodynamics has been a little concern this semester considering I flunked badly in my first assessment. Internals and End-Semesters hold equal importance here and it is with care that one has to perform in the Assessments in order to gain considerable ground before the End-Semesters can be attended.
The real happiness lay in how satisfied one is with his/her work and how much they love it. I love my Course and I am looking to improve my reading and knowledge even more in the coming semester. I haven’t been too active during my first semester, I should admit. The second semester is going to be a lot different. And if there’s any competition reading, well, watch out.. There’s a gale heading your way!!!!!!!!
